Design
We design and refine tools and experiences to awaken conscious collective action. Our work catalyzing creates the arena to experiment and refine; the feedback we get from those we empower helps us refine our tools and experiences.Â
Action research
We partner with others to conduct experiments that seek to discover principles and practices of conscious collective action and design tools and experiences for change agents to lead transformative innovation.
Catalyze
We support pioneering leaders and their organizations bring greater consciousness into their work in systems change. We serve our partners with the tools and experiences we design, and create opportunities for those we have trained to engage in this work. Â

We offer coaching for pioneering leaders that want to accelerate their own transformation in order to better engage with their work in systems change. Â
ConsultingÂ
We consult for organizations that want to adopt practices of conscious collective action and integrate them into the development of innovative products and services. We offer workshops and also longer term consulting support.
Empower
Â
We train change facilitators who want to bring conscious collective action into systems change. We teach them how to use the tools and experiences that we have designed, with case-based applications on the projects we catalyze.

Design
Innovation reefs:
Micelio has partnered with the State of the Nation, a Costa Rican think tank, and the Development Banking System, a public institution interested in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, to design and pilot the country’s first publicly funded program to foster transformative innovation. This collaboration has been structured as an action research project that is engaging a series of stakeholders in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem to explore how the principles and practices of conscious collective action might be applied to kindle an emergent niche of regenerative biodevelopment.
Catalyze
Awaken Your True North:
Micelio partnered with True North, a private school in Costa Rica, to design in-class experiences to awaken character traits that children navigate their own wellbeing while learning to engage as conscious leaders. Micelio has provided coaching and consulting, which resulted in the creation of Awaken Your True North, a game-based program to help awaken appreciation, audacity, commitment, curiosity, empathy and equanimity in children and teachers. The project has spun-off as a startup with the mission of changing the educational system with transformational educational experiences such as this game.Â
Empower
Offsite for InsightÂ
Micelio organized a three-day learning journey for Viva Idea, a thought and action center dedicated to strengthening collective action towards sustainable development in the global south. The experience held space for the team to refine and integrate its new organizational strategy while engaging and learning from entrepreneurs in an indigenous community that they serve. Micelio held space for the team in a way that brought greater awareness of each persons’ biases in viewing the world and in understanding and refining the team’s dynamics based on the principles and practices of conscious collective action.Â
